On the western side of the concessions we have the Zambezi National park which runs along the mighty Zambezi River. While on the eastern side we have Hwange national park, the biggest national park in Zimbabwe and with the big five-lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo. We do not have any fences or anything to stop the animals moving in between the park and us. This ideal position of the hunting concessions makes it best for hunting.

We hunt the big game from elephant, buffalo, leopard and including the plains game like kudu, eland, zebra, giraffe, impala etc. as can be seen from our quota and prize list.

Basically there are two ways you can do your hunting with Africa Premier Safaris, you can either choose (1) A hunting package or (2)Regular Safaris, Pay the daily rate and pay the trophy fee as you get your trophies . The Hunting packages include the daily rate and the trophy fees. All our hunts are accompanied by fully qualified experienced hunters.

On our hunting safari trip we pick you from Victoria Falls airport and take you to our hunting lodge which is an hour’s drive from the airport or to our classic safari tented camp depending as to which animal (trophies) you are looking for.

You will do riffle testing then rest for that evening after your long international flight. We start the hunt early the next morning.

We are very fortunate that we have both the big and plains game in our concessions, were we hunt.

We hunt big game (elephant, buffalo, hippopotamus, lion and leopard) and plains game (sable, crocodile, kudu etc) in Zimbabwe’s prime concessions i.e. Matetsi Safari Area, Binga ICA and Gwayi ICA areas.

The area we hunt has a large variety of game species and game is abundant. Our plains game hunting safaris are ideal for both experienced hunters as well as for novice hunters.  Our Professional Hunters are very experienced and will ensure that both the experienced hunter and the novice hunter will enjoy their hunting safari.

We offer Fair game hunting on foot – but this is not physically difficult as stalks are usually not long. Shooting is sometimes long range and therefore can be difficult, but your Professional Hunter will get you into your comfort range. Our Professional Hunters will give you the benefit of their experience with full information about the Hunting species game behaviour and habits, ecology, wildlife and environmental management, and very interesting information about African culture , indigenous African ways of survival and wonderful African stories, to make a complete African experience !

Our meals are excellent and food is plentiful, mostly local, consisting of farm raised and various game meats, cooked vegetables, potatoes, berries, mushrooms and dairy products. Private chef, select wines and gourmet food items can be provided with prior notification at additional cost.
